Food for the Soul-Aired on KCPT on Dec. 23rd 2010

Food for the Soul from Cara Myers on Vimeo.
The Kansas City Community Kitchen at 8th and Paseo in Kansas City offers a very warm and welcoming setting to Kansas City's hungry and serves thoughtfully prepared, healthy food. Designed by Jennifer Bertrand of Olathe Kansas, winner of HGTV's 2008 Design Star, this community kitchen offers a beautiful setting to all who enter. Look and see what remarkable things the Episcopal Community Services are doing in this place!

In the making, Tony and I wrote and directed this piece together for KCPT. Tony was the DP, and I shot my first handful of shots on the 7d as well! (What a cool camera.) I headed up post production, though we both crafted the story together.

It aired Thursday December 23rd on the Local Show.
